Thanos seemed to finally gain death's approval when he allied himself with annihilus, handing over his armies, teleportation technology, and galactus. upon learning that annihilus wanted to destroy all life in both the positive and negative matter universes, thanos tried to release galactus.. Thanos, while wielding the ig, made galactus his herald and as michael already established that galactus is usually the strongest of all them mentioned, it’s needless to say that ig thanos would stomp any of them.. Thanos was literally begging for his life. something unseemly, and unsettling for such a powerful character. but this is galactus, the being who marvel uses as the barometer for who is and is not a “real” threat to the cosmos..
